PATIENT CARE

David Hansford is a certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) certified by the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics. He has thirty-one years of experience in this field receiving training from New York University and NorthWestern University. He has qualifications in the following upper extremity prosthetic specialties: Myoelectric; Utah (above and below elbow), Otto Bock, Hosmer, Boston, and Steeper systems. He is also qualified in the following lower extremity prosthetic specialties: Above knee; narrow ML/ischial containment, and flexible socket designs. Below knee; OWW, USMC, Fillauer, Becker, Iceross, TEC, and Otto Bock systems. He has the following orthotic specialties: Spinal; Charleston Bending Brace, Boston, and Atlanta International Systems. Lower extremity; Otto Bock, USMC, Fillauer, Hosmer, and Becker Systems. Upper extremity; Rancho and Jaeco Systems.

Chet Burdette is also certified by the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics. He has an Undergraduate Degree in Human Services from Metropolitan State University St Paul, Minnesota. He has obtained the following degrees from Century College in White Bear Lake, Minnesota; Prosthetic Technician-1991, Orthotic Technician-1994, Prosthetic Practioner-1997, and Orthotic Practioner-1999. Chet has also obtained certificates in the following specialties; MyoBock, Hosmer, TEC, OWW, and College Park. Chet is skilled in fitting total suface bearing and ischial containment sockets as well as traditional designs.

Lisa Hansford is office manager and is responsible for all accounts receivable and payable and for scheduling all appointments. She has fourteen years experience with billing for prosthetics and orthotics and has her business degree from West Virginia Junior College.

Chris Cheaney is a Technician working in the prosthetics and orthotics lab. He has four years experience in this field and has completed a course in measurment and fitting of knee braces and lumbar sacral corsets from TruForm Orthopedic Systems. He also has extensive on the job training in fabrication of foot orthotics.
